Smart bulbs have been on the market for some time, but so far no such (big) company and known as LG had shown interest in this business.

That is why the official launch of “Smart Bulb“, Which is a lamp designed by LG that has very interesting functions:

  • On off the lamp using an application, which connects to the lamp via Bluetooth.
  • The light bulb flashes when we receive a call (if we want this setting)
  • Adjust the intensity of the light according to the ambient music (for those who want a flash for a party, they already know where to invest)

The lifetime of the lamp can exceed 10 years, according to LG, if used about five hours a day. Another interesting detail is that this smart lamp consumes 80% less energy than a regular incandescent bulb.

The lamp control apps are compatible with Android 4.3 (or higher) and iOS 6 (or higher) devices. Those interested in purchasing, will have two models available, the white lamp and the colored lamp.

It is only available in South Korea and will cost approximately 38 USD.
