#LetsTalkAboutSocialMedia brings together digital marketing professionals in Angola

On 23 February of 2019, the 1 edition of event #LetsTalkAboutSocialMedia Mediateca of Luanda, an event held by KiandaHub in collaboration with Jobartis. The main objective of this event was to bring together Digital Marketing professionals and share knowledge among the most experienced in the field and all interested parties.

1st Speaker - Mauro Yange

In the first part, the topic “Social Media” was addressed, highlighting the war against fake news and data manipulation, instagram as one of today's top social networks, LinkedIn growth, video content, user-created content, stories, digital influencers, private messaging apps.

We also talked about the WhatsApp Business which allows segmenting the customer acquisition through this social network, marking a different positioning of the other existing platforms.

2nd Speaker - Alfredo Kayesse

Digital strategist of profession, had its approach focused on the Brand strategy, which indicates how the brand will position in a global way, where the digital integrant is incorporated in this process.

He also stressed that the digital strategy, which can be consolidated in a document, that will allow determining the channels (social media) where the company will position itself, in this same channel should be chosen if the debut will be B2B ou B2C. So without content there is no strategy, this is the basic rule to have a digital strategy to work.

During his approach, he also presented 5 digital strategies that some digital marketing managers must take into account, which are:

  • Hobbies / Giveaways;
  • Member-bring-member;
  • Entertainment generates sales;
  • Influencers;
  • Ephemerides like water in the desert;
  • Data-based actions;

In the penultimate part of the event, we had #WatchUs: Interview with André Cardiga - Digital Marketing Manager at SODIBA, who had the opportunity to explain his experience in the field of Digital Marketing, and pass on to the youngest the appropriate tools to establish themselves in the sector. and in the last part, there was a discussion panel: Challenges and Opportunities for Social Media professionals, moderated by Anderson Marques.
