Competitors selected for programming marathon

The first programming marathon (Hackathon) in Angola between developers for Android devices will be held in Luanda this Saturday (16 December 2017) in Bantu Makers.

The competition between developers in Angola will aim to develop, in less than 48 hours, an Android application that will facilitate the meeting between startups in search of talents and programmers looking for freelance projects.

The event will start at 9h00 on Saturday and will be closed at 16h00 on Sunday. 14 developers will participate in the competition, which have already been selected through a selective process started in August and organized by the project Coding Dojo Angola.

The winner will receive a prize of 100.000 Kwanzas and a 7Mobile smartphone. The second and third place will also receive 7Mobile smartphone. The Hackaton Android CDA is organized by Coding Dojo Angola, with support from Bantu Makers and 7Mobile.

O Coding Dojo Angola (workshop for software developers), aims to support young Angolan developers to get work freelancer to be able to enter or even finish their university studies.

It is important to note that, access to this event will be limited to: competitors, organization, sponsors, startups looking for freelance Android developers and the press.
