Nokia Lumia 530

This month Microsoft has decided to make major restructurings. It began by announcing the dismissal of 18 thousand employees, advanced with the decision of delete the line Nokia X with Android and now announced its first smartphone without Nokia being in charge of operations.

The first smartphone with the Microsoft label is also the cheapest smartphone with Windows Phone. It will cost 114 USD.

The main features are:

  • Screen: 4 inches, with resolution of 854 x 480 pixels
  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 200, quad-core, with speed 1,2 GHz
  • RAM memory: 512 MB
  • Storage: 4 GB of internal memory (with support for storage of 128 GB microSD).
  • Camera: only a 5 megapixel rear camera (there is no front camera!)
  • Operating System: Windows Phone 8.1

Who decides to buy the Lumia 530 access to the Microsoft's personal assistant, Cortana (only for those in the USA) and you will have the possibility to choose between the versions with a SIM or dual SIM (3G). And just like the other Lumias, Microsoft allows users to change their cell phone cases, with a large number of colors available, including orange, green, white and dark gray.

Microsoft plans to begin selling the Lumia 530 in August, with markets selected for launch. Being a low-cost mobile phone, Angola is very likely to be on the list.

But having a Windows Phone for 114 USD is quite interesting.
