A Microsoft announced on Tuesday, April 11, that the operating system “Windows Vista ” you will no longer receive any new security updates, non-security fixes, free or paid support options, or Microsoft online technical content updates.
“Vista” was unable to reach the entire level generated in its marketing. Most famous for introducing alerts every time the user tried to make changes, as the operating system constantly interrupted the pace of work with unnecessary notifications.
Currently, only 0,78% of the worldwide users of any and all computers use Windows Vista. Well, it's time to say goodbye!
“IN addition to being INVASIVE, WINDOWS VISTA CONSUMES RESOURCES LIKE CPU AND RAM TOO. IN SUMA, THE MOST PART OF THE PUBLIC HATED THE SYSTEM AND PREFERRED TO CONTINUE WITH THE WINDOWS XP ”.
For ten years, Microsoft has provided all possible support for the operating system, but now plans to invest the resources in newer technologies. There is no problem in continuing to use the Windows Vista operating system, as long as you take extra care when connected to the internet. Without support from Microsoft, Windows Vista becomes more vulnerable to attacks by third parties.
The next operating system to be shut down by Microsoft is the Windows 7, successor to Vista, but this is only expected to happen in January of 2020.
