After the event “Microsoft Build 2016“, Microsoft already has the specific dates on which the same event will take place next year, having chosen May 10, 2017 to open the event, and May 12, 2017 for the closing.
Build 2017 will take place in downtown Seattle, Washington. In recent years, Microsoft held this event in San Francisco, California. The company said that hosting the two-day event in Seattle this year, gives it a “Opportunity to connect even more engineering teams and leaders directly with developers building on the Microsoft platform".
Microsoft uses Build to bring developers to the mix, showing their future software plans. For example, with this event we will know the next version of Windows, which follows the launch of the creators update at the beginning of 2017.
