Mozambique hosts the conference on African Women in Technology

The women's wing has been notable in the technology world, because recently a young woman Mozambican distinguished in Southern Africa programming marathon.

But by all indications things will not be left alone, the city of Maputo expects to receive about 200 participants for the Conference on African Women in Technology, to be held in Maputo on 11-13 days of October this year.

The event brings together Women Leaders, Influencing, innovative and Creative, to discuss the advancement of Women's Career in the areas of Technology.

Second Anie Akpe (Founder of African Women in Tech), “This year's Conference is focused on how Mozambican visionary leaders drive global innovation and how this influence impacts their business and leverages communities' lives. The aim is to increase the number of women leaders, innovators and executives across Africa ”. Preparing this 1st Conference in Mozambique is a way to celebrate the extraordinary talent that exists in Maputo ”.

Still aiming to provide solutions to the challenges faced by women in technology, the conference will also highlight plans to support career and business development throughout the year, including virtual workshops and accelerated programs.

For those who do not know, African Women in Technology is an organization that seeks to overcome gender asymmetries in technological areas for African women. AWIT is an exclusive program of IBOM LLC (Innov8tiv). The events are for everyone from students, senior executives and entrepreneurs in the technology field.

The Women in Mozambique have bet heavily on technology.
