Movicel Vs Hi, tests of the 4G network

Movicel, in Angola, decided to implement the first 4G network in Africa. As we can see in the image below, in the first city where the network was implemented, Cabindawe had 32 Mbit / s average. There are rumors that lead us to believe that the network is already running (test phase) in Luanda, with speed up to 50 Mbit / s.

Now, the Hi, in Brazil. decided to start with his tests and the results could not be more encouraging for Brazilians: 88 Mbit / s, it's impressive! So far we have been talking about maximum speeds in a controlled environment, of 100 Mbit / s, that is, Oi is close to achieving this in the first few months of testing (they claim to have achieved this speed!).

It remains to be seen whether Movicel will be able to find out what the "magic button"To achieve similar speeds, because we know that when the network is operational with multiple clients, we will have to divide those speeds, thus obtaining not so impressive numbers. Conclusion, the higher the speed in the test environment, the better for end users.

Still there is no official date for the "launch" of Movicel's 4G network, nor were prices defined yet, but of course when will be there to test ...

    • Gabriel Ivaba the Internet has not improved and the prices are still insane, it seems that this Internet is only available for those who have a monthly income of 10.000 usd because the monthly prices are breathtaking, you pay 16.200 which is less than 160 usd to have 15 GP of traffic 15 gb these days it won't do anything
