MWC22: HMD Global unveiled three new Nokia C models

It is no longer news for our readers that from February 28th to March 02nd, the new edition of Mobile World Congress took place (MWC22), marking the return of the event in a face-to-face mode and where MenosFios newsroom brings the latest news in one of the main technology showcases in the world.

Thus, on the last day of the event the HMD Global presented the new proposals for Nokia smartphones, where the company took the opportunity to share the 41% revenue growth in its smartphone division in 2021, compared to 2020, showing that this was the first year of total operating profits for HMD Global.

At the presentation, the manufacturer highlighted the success of its affordable Nokia models, revealing three new devices in the C range: the Nokia C21, the C21 Plus and the C2 2nd Edition🇧🇷 HMD Global also informed that it currently has more than 1 million subscriptions to its suite of services, noting that it will launch more options, in order to allow it to grow, attract talent and better support its customers. In its service options, the manufacturer revealed a new financing solution for smartphones and other equipment.

"2021 was a year of transformation, resulting in solid revenue growth across all businesses. Today we are celebrating the new lucrative chapter with three new affordable smartphones that are not only safe, but durable, allowing more people to access the latest technology for less”, the company said in a statement.

Regarding the new models presented at MWC22, the Nokia C21 Plus bets its chips on autonomy, offering two battery variations, one with 4.000 mAh and the other with 5.050 mAh. The smartphone also has a metal chassis with IP52 certification for protection against dust and water spills. It features a 6,5-inch HD+ screen with a resolution of 720p.

The model has a dual camera module: a 13 MP main camera and a 2 MP depth camera, highlighting the Panorama and Portrait modes. The smartphone is powered by Unisoc SC9863A processor, offers options of 2, 3 and 4 GB of RAM and up to 64 GB of internal storage.

The equipment arrives in April in two colors, Dark Cyan and Warm grey, starting at 119 euros (about 65 thousand kwanzas).
