Following the launch of the 4G Internet, Net One has now extended its coverage of the WiMAX Network to seven new zones in Luanda. These areas are located in the vicinity of Ulengo Center, Viana, close to Ginga Shopping, Centrality of Cacuaco, Talatone, Island of Luanda, Zango e Cazenga, as they are areas that the company considers to be in population and economic expansion.
Net One, which is already in 13 provinces in our country, aims to continue to invest in its telecommunications network in order to increase its coverage and provide better services. The coverage of these new areas entered service in the quarter from July to September. The operator continues its expansion plan in the last quarter of the current year, increasing the coverage of both WiMAX and 4G service, as an example in the province of Huambo and in various areas of the city of Luanda.
In order for the coverage of these areas to become possible the operator invested in the installation of new antennas and telecommunications equipment valued at about 600 Million Kwanzas.
