IOS 9 was released on 16 in September, and only after a week did I get the time to upgrade my iPhone (5S). Also available for iPads and iPods Touch, the new version brought highlights, improvements and new features compared to its predecessor.
Note: First of all, it is advisable to have your backup up-to-date so that, in some event, you do not lose important data.
As has been summary of the Apple event, 9 iOS is compatible with 4S iPhone and higher versions, and the upgrade process for 8 GB storage devices has been optimized, 1 GB is the space required to download and install the new version.
Highlights:
Crab
Siri's back is more dynamic. You can already talk to her without necessarily having to press the main button, and for this to be possible you will need to make a quick voice update so that she can recognize you when she is called. The wizard now also recommends apps based on your daily usage.
Improvements:
Battery
The duration of the battery has been increased and has the low power mode (or economic mode, which already existed in the Androids) for those who, like me, always have the phone at hand, we will be shown the percentage that each application consumes battery.
Notes
Notes now support images, drawings, maps, and more attachments. For those who are lazy to write, it is possible to save a little of everything there. Well, it can be compared to Evernote.
News:
Slip view
It is now possible for two applications to split the screen equally and work at the same time. Cute, but higher battery consumption.
Photo Gallery
The number of folders increased for better organization. There is the camera roll with all the photos and subsequent subfolders.
Other small points: the multitasks now appear cascading and there was a change in the source (I'm getting used to).
During these days the App Store has sent numerous compatibility updates as there are applications that were not working after the device received iOS 9.
In particular, I felt my phone slower after the update.
And have you already updated your devices? What did you think?
