The US Federal Communications Commission is planning to ban all new telecommunications devices from some Chinese companies, including ZTE and Huawei.

The information was provided by the website Axios, who further noted that the proposal still exists only in draft form and therefore still needs to be voted on by the Commissioners. The proposal is known to also include video devices from three other companies.
"The Federal Communications Commission is committed to protecting national security by ensuring that unreliable communications equipment is not authorized within our borders.", can be read in the statement sent to the website Cnet.
