For almost three years Microsoft has officially introduced Microsoft Hololens to the world, which unfortunately so far has not started to be sent to developers who have already purchased the kit that costs 3.000 USD.
According to a report presented by the Thurrott, points out that Microsoft has decided to leave aside its plans for a second version of Hololens in favor of a third version that is also being prepared. The report suggests that Microsoft may focus on further changes to its device as a result, and that lack of competition has allowed the company to make that decision.
Therefore, the successor to Hololens will arrive in 2019, there is no certainty of what Microsoft planned for this new version of the device, but it can be assumed that the company will reduce the size of the device and will improve some aspects, such as the autonomy of the battery, processing power, and maybe even the field of view.
