In the year of 2016, the first Oculus Rift was delivered, thus opening a new era for users who decided to have access to virtual reality.
After its first version, the company ended up presenting its newest device yesterday. O new Oculus Quest is considered a “All-in-one“A consumer version of what was previously known as Project Santa Cruz. It uses motion controllers similar to Oculus Touch and four wide-angle cameras provide positional tracking that allows people to traverse virtual space.
Second Hugo Barra (CEO of Oculus), the device was "made for gaming", distinguishing it from other, more video-focused Oculus mobile devices. He also assured that the company will invest significantly in this new platform.
As for the features, it has a resolution of 1600 x 1440 per eye, but with the option of adjusting the lens spacing, it includes built-in speakers that channel sound to users' ears, but supposedly with improved bass. As for the price, it will cost 399 USD.
