Yesterday was a day full of news for Apple fanboys. Among the many new features the new MackBooks Air had an update. This was more internally and we can summarize by:

  • Fourth-generation Intel processors (Haswell), faster and more efficient that according to Apple will offer 40% faster graphics than the current ones.
  • Wi-Fi 802.11ac, translating into Portuguese, is three times faster than the current generation. This new Wi-Fi protocol has also been extended to AirPort Extreme.

What was bad? We were waiting to see an update on the screen of the MacBook Air but we were sad to see no retina display screen in it.

In the US the prices have gone down now the MackBook Air costs $ 999 in 11 version in e $ 1.099 in 13 version inches. Apple ended the 64GB SSD line and now the only version available is the 128GB SSD.
