The international creative business contest is much more than just a competition, it is a global initiative that helps entrepreneurs in the creative industries to develop their business ideas, connect them to investors, to global markets and strengthen their innovative capabilities for the market .
How does the international creative business contest work?
Each year, partners from around the world organize national competitions for the international creative business contest. In this case, the national partner in Angola is the Accelerates Angola, which will be the entry point for the Angolans to compete as a finalist in the Creative Business Cup in Copenhagen.
National winners from around the world compete against each other at the Creative Business Cup in Copenhagen, Denmark, in November during Global Entrepreneurship Week. The startups who do not compete in the international finals are also welcome to join us in Copenhagen but will not be eligible to compete for the title as the best creative entrepreneur in the world.
Creative industries are defined as:

- Movies & videos;
- Art to crafts;
- Radio & TV;
- Amusement parks and presentations;
- Gastronomy;

Those interested should submit an application contemplating the maximum of the following topics:
- Base for business;
- Market and consumers;
- Description of the product / service;
- Competitive situation;
- Organization and management team;
- Risk analysis;
- Financial needs;
- Exit strategy (for investors).
Schedule of the Contest:
- Application Launch: 15 May 2017
- Closing of applications: 30 June 2017
- Identification and communication of the finalists by the Pre-Jury: 15 July 2017
- Immersion Period for 10 Finalists: 24 to 26 July 2017
- Presentation of the winner CBC Angola by the Jury: 31 August of 2017
- Copenhagen Finals: 16 November 2017
What are the prizes?
The prizes are to be defined and will be briefly website the Creative Business Cup (www.creativebusinesscup.com). However, you can also check the prizes of previous editions on the same page.
Application Requirements:
Applications must be submitted by email ([email protected]) in PDF file, accompanied by an explanatory video of the project, in the format: mpg, wmv; avi - Minimum mandatory resolution: 1280 × 720 pixels (720p) - Duration: 5 minutes depending on the technical data sheet - Music and / or sound design: not applicable - Images / photography: original (if used)
