BIGsales e-commerce platform expects to invoice 40 million kwanzas this year

The platform BigSales, which is the largest franchise of online stores in Portugal, and which recently held its opening event in the national territory, has a plan to invoice more than 40 million kwanzas in the first quarter of this year, as well as foresees a growth of around 25 Percent.

This perspective was revealed by the company's CEO, Raul Silva, speaking at the pre-launch ceremony for the start of platform operations in Angola, where he informed that electronic commerce is the fastest growing business segment in the world since 2020, and where in Angola it has not been different, as well as "the numbers show that the expectation is that it will continue with an upward performance".

According to Raúl Silva, for all interested parties who want to have their own online store at BigSales, there are different packages that include setting up the store, operating structure, product management and even delivery logistics.

It was also revealed that the company uses European technology, and that it has three sales plans for customers, namely a gold package valued at four million and 250 thousand kwanzas, silver (two million and 500 thousand kz) and a bronze set at (one million kwanzas).

"Gold plan customers are entitled to 25 thousand products and ten categories, silver (ten thousand products and three categories) and bronze three thousand products and one category”, said Raúl Silva, adding that online stores are developed according to requests from economic agents.

Also at the BigSales presentation event, it was advanced that the company will enter the Angolan market in addition to the online stores project with a focus also on the business of managing technological services, above all to reach the young layer that, in recent times, is focused on Internet purchases from a tablet, mobile phone or computer.

When asked about the tax fraud that the business entails, the CEO says that due to the technology adopted the company is prepared to respond, noting that acts of this kind have never happened since they started their activity in the European market and in Brazil.

"Our team linked to information technologies has received training to maintain control and reinforcement. We were invited by Amazon to train three of our company's employees. We are in constant updates”, he informed.

Still on this path, Hilton dos Santos, co-founder of the firm, added that companies intending to be registered in the BIGsales virtual store must be duly constituted companies, registered with the General Tax Administration (AGT) and will also have a free month of accounting support for transactions commercials.

"BIGsales enters the national market with the aim of opening up the digital environment combined with technological competence and the integration of the digital tools available, from BIGsales Portugal to Angola, whose ambition is to offer the best experience to our future franchisees", said.
