Ramos Soft invests USD 1 million in software factory in Angola

Ramos Soft is an Angolan company, formed by Angolan technicians and engineers, is investing one million dollars in the construction of a software factory, based in Luanda.

The engineer Osvaldo Ramos, director-general of the company ensures that the construction works of the factory have a level of progression in the order of 60%, and indicates that until 2019 the company will be able to produce software with quality seals.

"We want people to start buying software at 2.500 kzs".

The investment is valued at one million dollars, an amount that will be absorbed for infrastructure construction, equipment acquisition, and certification requests, such as ISO9000, which guarantees product quality and ISO27001, regarding information security.

Ramos Soft has approximately 99 clients, among individuals, private, and public institutions, has more than 25 softwares available for school, commercial and hospital management, aimed primarily at microenterprises.

Present in 17 provinces, with 45 employees currently, a number that may grow to 150 with the opening of the factory. "We are proceeding with a thorough update, because all the records were made on paper and we are migrating them to the digital system", said the director-general.
