Smart Watches Already on the Market (Part 1)

On the rumor trail of iWatch, which here we publish, and while there is still no confirmation from Apple (we believe that there will not be until launch, if there is a launch), we will in the next few days present to you what already exists in the market and already available for you to buy, under this heading Smart Watches.

In this Part 1 we will present the I'm Watch.

Developed in Italy, it has a refined design and among the smart watches that exist on the market this can be considered one of the most beautiful and also one of the most expensive. It is tactile, as you would expect, it connects with the phone via Bluetooth and is compatible with Android 4.0 (and above) and iOS 4 (and above). It has the speakerphone function, which allows you to speak while driving. Synchronizes your SMSs, emails and calendar, allowing you to manage and consult your appointments without looking at your phone.

Other functions that we find interesting are, for example, refusing calls just by shaking your wrist (giving a little Malta note), sending an alert when we move away from the phone and an intelligent synchronization, in which the watch is not always synchronized with the phone, it does when it is necessary allowing a great saving of battery.

Synchronization with smartphones is done through your own applications that are compatible with the mobile operating systems mentioned above, so we will not install our applications on it, but synchronize those we have on our mobile phone with those that the watch has. But don't worry, facebook, twitter, instagram are included.

The watch is 10mm thick and weighs between 90 to 170 g, has 4GB memory and 128MB RAM, 3.5mm headphone output that works as an audio output and mini power jack, microphone and built-in speaker.

But not everything is roses, we were a little dissatisfied with the battery times that go from 24h in standby with Bluetooth connection to 3h only for speakerphone (there is no data on the use of the battery listening to music), the music player just read MP3, has no Portuguese language and another important point is that i'm Watch is not a stand-alone phone, that is, it always needs to be connected to a smartphone.

If none of the above is a problem, then let's move on to the pricing and models (which are even upgraded to 28 / 02 / 2013). Let's do it:

- color collection, the base model has seven different colors and the value is 399 $ (299 €).

- Tech collection, is the titanium version, is the whole terrain of the family and comes prepared for any clash. This model already has the value of 1.049,00 $ (799,00 €).

- Jewel collection, here the plateau rises high. 3 $ (1.999 €), Gold that costs 1.499 $ (16.990 €) and a version of White Gold with Diamonds (which is the one you are interested in) that costs 12.999 $ (19.990 €)
