Analyst Jeff Pu from Haitong Securities, one of the most respected when it comes to topics related to Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, believes that all next-generation iPhone models will have the same amount of RAM.
Unlike the iPhone 15 series where we find the 'standard' models with 6GB of RAM and the Pro models with 8GB of RAM, in the (possible) iPhone 16 series all models will have 8GB of RAM.
BUT: Next generation iPhone will have greater battery capacity
Apparently, this 'unification' is due to the fact that iOS 18 has Artificial Intelligence features - with the increase serving to cope with these new features.
Naturally, it is not 100% known whether Apple will actually increase the RAM memory of the 'standard' models of its smartphones. iPhones, so we will have to wait for more rumors.
