It is already confirmed that the new iPhone to be unveiled on 12 September day of 2017, remaining only to confirm the details that will appear on this Apple smartphone. An OLED screen, a new 3D camera, wireless charger, facial recognition and no button are expected home.
A few days before the presentation of the iPhone 8, rumors are circulating that Apple for now will not abandon the fingerprint sensor it released on 2013, which supposedly would be replaced on the new smartphone by the facial recognition option.
Apparently, Apple encountered production problems trying to incorporate Touch ID on the screen of the new phone. These problems, combined with some others related to using the phone from an OLED screen. So eventually, Apple simply decided to abandon the fingerprint sensor entirely and rely on facial recognition to unlock the smartphone.
Rumors about the lack of Touch ID on the iPhone 8 have been circulating on the Internet for a few months, but this is the first time that a reliable source has made such a categorical statement on the subject.. So it's very likely that this rumor will come to fruition during the Apple event next week.
