The expectation for the Apple event was high. What would the company have to present again? Well, we have new Smartphones on the way: iPhone XR, iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max. There is also a new version of Apple Watch and of course an update for iOS.
Apple announced the launch date of the next update for iOS 12: day September 17. Interestingly, iOS is installed on 2 billions of devices!
But who wants to wait "so long"? Learn how to install before:
Anyone who wants can install the final version of iOS 12 as of today and get access to enhanced notifications, Memoji, Siri shortcuts and other new features included in the update.
The main version of iOS 12 is being launched today for Apple beta testing. So if you want to start using the new update today, all you have to do is to participate in the beta version.
Be sure to back up your device before anything else!
How to install the version of iOS 12 GM:
- Visit beta.apple.com/sp/betaprogram. (Preferably open directly from the iPhone or iPad you want to upgrade to iOS 12.)
- Choose â € œsubscribeâ € and login with your Apple ID. Agree to the usual terms and conditions.
- From here, select the iOS tab, where you’ll see the option to download the beta profile to your device. Do it. Choose "install".
- You will be prompted to enter the password for your iOS device and tap some screens. Eventually, your iPhone will reboot.
- After that, you'll be able to access the settings, look for an update, and see the iOS 12 update.
- Download and install as you would on any other iOS release.
