The São Tomé Government will install surveillance cameras throughout the country's capital that will be monitored by the operational command center of the National Police to reinforce internal security, the São Tomé Defense Minister announced this Wednesday.

Since August, the São Tomé National Police have installed cameras in some parts of the city, particularly at the airport, as part of security reinforcement measures for the 14th summit of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP) held in the archipelago.
