In the group of winds that GGPEN is organizing, in reference to the date, it involves lectures, interviews about the “Women and ICT”, dissemination of videos, workshops, exhibitions and other various activities related to the space area, with the aim of awakening interest in space technology, especially among women and girls.

"Nowadays the number of women working in the space sector has increased. It is a mostly male sector, but we always guide women who want to pursue this career to be more persistent, not to look at this taboo, which only men should occupy. It's a good sector to work in and women can do much more.”, declared Helga Rufino, Technical of the Administrative Area of GGPEN, in an interview with RNA.
