Young students at all levels of education in Angola must be more technologically innovative, to meet the demands of the job market, in the opinion of the Head of the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (DCTI) in Cunene, Paula Sancho.

Speaking about April 21st as World Creativity and Innovation Day, the person responsible revealed that work is underway with students in extracurricular activities, which encourages investment in creativity.

According to the expert, these actions aim to encourage students to show what they know how to do, based on the knowledge that teachers transmit at school.

Paula Sancho indicated that new projects that can solve or minimize some social problems that the country is experiencing must be created with creativity.

He mentioned that, for example, his office has promoted science fairs, technology and other events, to awaken children's talent through science and technology.

"We have some innovative aspects ranging from software, health, production and wind energy projects to devices for capturing water for irrigation through the solar system", said.
