According to the communiqué, in which the editorial staff of MenosFios had access, Sonangol informs that, despite these procedures having been observed, the accounts have not been officially published, to date (June 26), “because mandatory elements of the statutory forum are missing".

In a note, the public institution clarifies that the publication of the 2021 report and accounts will only be disclosed after the situation of the missing elements has been overcome, coming to light simultaneously with the independent audit report, as well as the opinion of the Board Tax, on the company's communication platforms.

According to Jornal de Angola, which contacted a source linked to the company, he stressed that the issue regarding the publication of the accounts is the progress of the preparation of the Supervisory Board's opinion, expressing doubts as to the authenticity of the content that was disseminated on the networks social: “Sonangol does not assume this document", said.
