Angolan startups committed to partnering and networking at Web Summit 2022

The seventh edition of the WebSummit, which had more than 70.000 participants, 2.630 'startups' and companies, 1.120 investors and 1.040 speakers.

About the innovative Angolan projects that were present at the biggest technological event in the world, namely startups  Narisrec, cleantech provider of electronic waste management and marketing services, arotec and Kula Kids, the summit served to make partnerships, networking and raise the name of Angola in the event.

"It is a unique moment of connections and opportunity for partnerships, which will enable the growth of kula Kids”, said Luciana Costa, representative of Startup.

On the other hand, for Délcio Silva, founder of Narisrec, says that “our participation is being extremely positive and is adding value to Startup Narisrec at an international level with the protection of our brand and technological idea".

"We want to show the world that in Angola we are already creating sustainable and profitable technology”, stressed João Hosi from Arotec.

To inform that the national startups were present at the event with the Unitel seal, being winners of the last edition of UNITEL Go Challenge, which once again led to its value as a promoter of Angolan technological entrepreneurship which, since its inception, has supported various initiatives aimed at boosting the country's Digital Ecosystem.

UNITEL GO Challenge is a Business contest Digitais open every year to Angolan entrepreneurs and developers as well as Angolans residing in the diaspora. In 2022 more than 220 projects were submitted to the competition, only 10 of which made it to the final and 3 of them convinced the Jury.
