The saga of half tablet, notebook media of Microsoft continues. Surface 3 has been introduced which brings some improvements over its predecessor, the Surface 2.
The highlight goes to the size of the Surface's screen, which is now larger, reaching 12 inches. Microsoft's objective is clear: to convince both tablet users and ultrabook users that they will be able to perform all tasks on a Surface.
In order for users to be tempted to exchange ultrabooks for the surface, a high-performance processor was inserted, in this case a Intel Core i7, in the most powerful version.
If those features aren't enough for you yet, Microsoft “attacks” with the weight of the device: only 800g , compared to the 1,6 kg of most ultrabooks. For those who want something more professional, Microsoft has made available a larger version of the expansion base (dock), for those who want to transform the tablet into something closer to a desktop. With the Dock we can connect the surface to an ultra high resolution screen, that is, 4 K.
