Meet the new Lenovo MIIX 720 tablet, a competitor to Surface Pro

A Lenovo introduced its new tablet MIIX 720, a hybrid device with the operating system Windows 10. The device is the successor to the MIIX 700, now with several improvements over last year's model.

Lenovo MIIX 720 contains a more energy efficient processor, equipped with a large screen with good resolution, 12 inches with 2880x1920p, which gives a density of 288 pixels per inch. The screen of this new equipment is protected by glass with Gorilla Glass pattern and has a maximum brightness of 400 nits.

Connectivity options for the Lenovo MIIX 720 tablet include support for Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.1, a USB Type-C port, a USB 3.0 port, a USB 2.0 port and a microSD card slot. Inside, the user can place up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM and up to 1TB of SSD storage. In terms of dimensions, the Lenovo MIIX 720 maintains the 292x210x8.9mm and the weight of 780g.

According to Lenovo, the tablet already with the keyboard will be available in the United States of America with prices starting at $ 999,99 in April 2017, in various colors. Users can choose between the Windows 10 Home operating system or Windows 10 Pro. Lenovo’s new bet comes to compete with the Surface Pro.
