Angolan technicians receive aerospace training in France

In recent times Angola has been investing heavily in matters related to “Space”, and for the sector to continue to be consolidated, six Angolan technicians will attend, from September, higher education in the space engineering sector, in the French city of Toulouse . They are National Space Program General Office (GGPEN), assigned to the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technology (MTTI).

Students are part of the Masters Course in Aerospace Project Management and Engineering. To complement the training, they will have access to internships at Airbus. Angolan technicians will train at the Higher Aeronautics Institute of Space (ISAE-SUPAERO), world leader in higher education in the space engineering sector based in Toulouse, France.

E to present the training program, the General Office of the National Space Program will hold, tomorrow, at 9:30 am, a press conference at its headquarters, CTT - Bairro Km7, Rangel, in Luanda. According to a press release, the training results from the collaboration between the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technologies and the French company Airbus, a partner in the construction of the Angosat-2 and 3 satellites.

The training project will also allow the development of applications of the different types of satellites that will be launched, namely in communications and earth observation.
