OneNote is a note-taking application, which has numerous features within itself and is very easy to use, organizing everything as if it were a paper notebook. You can link notes to an original document or schedule a meeting on your Outlook calendar. You can also create a note from any file or webpage into OneNote. If you insert images that contain optical characters, OneNote has the ability to recognize this aspect and automatically turn it into text.
With it you can make audio and video recordings of meetings at the same time, as well as notes synchronized with them.
Easy embedding
OneNote allows the integration of a lot of information; how to link Excel and Visio files, allowing you to live view the contents of these notes. In the latest version of the application, the table tools are much better than previous versions, allowing you to transform a table into a spreadsheet incorporated into Excel.
The Touch button is another novelty in OneNote, which is present in almost all Office programs, except Publisher and Access, which have a Full Screen button next to the minimize and maximize buttons.

Just to inform you that some new ways in OneNote can be a little annoying, like for example the options Cut out, Send to OneNote and some shortcuts for quick notations, which are now combined into an intrusive pop-up window, which sometimes refuses to close properly.
It's hard to show new users an important feature without irritating experienced users at the same time. Smart Sync
For those who don't know, OneNote was the first application that allowed you to synchronize between PCs, OneDrive and the OneNote web application, as well as smartphones. And now that functionality has come to Windows RT.
For example, when you select a text with your fingers in the OneNote application that is running on Windows RT on a tablet, a radial menu will appear – using your finger, in this same case, is equivalent to the Office mini-bar that disappears when you select a text with the mouse.
You can always tap to choose a pen color and, in the next step, slide to choose the desired shade. Tap so you can toggle the font size and make your choice.
It should also be noted that there is a button to undo changes and another to apply labels, where this puts the most used features of OneNote at your fingertips, with the radial menu on the right of the screen, being much closer to the thumb when you are holding it in a horizontal position .
