Agostinho Neto University and Huawei Angola will sign a memorandum of understanding, which will provide an internship and training platform for young people in the Information and Communication Technologies of the future in Angola.

The information was revealed during a visit by students from the Confucius Institute of Agostinho Neto University (UAN) to Huawei Angola Technology Park, in Talatona, for a study visit, as part of the partnership between the Chinese technology giant and Angolan educational institutions.

From what was revealed, the respective visit served for students to learn more about the Information and Communication Technologies sector, where they were able to visit the Innovation Center, the Cybersecurity Online Transparency Hall.

BUT: Government highlights technological development promoted by Huawei

Built in an area of ​​32 square metres, the infrastructure comprises three centres, the first of which is aimed at training Angolan talent and engineers.

The second is devoted to innovation (for new technologies), while the third is for advanced technological experiences.

In a first phase, the technological park will ensure the training of over 1.500 talents and engineers and, subsequently, it will ensure online training, which may cover an unlimited number of beneficiaries.

The technology park also has a Data Center and 3G, 4G and 5G Telephony Solutions and Data Center for solar panels for homes and businesses.
