On March 31 at KiandaHub's facilities, the MenosFios.com team invited young entrepreneurs for another session of the Startup Dojo Luanda, an informal meeting that aims to present and share ideas of startups, business models, debates, studies, team building, networking and web and mobile application development. All this for three intense hours in an atmosphere of digital entrepreneurship.
The event served to share the two Mobile World Congress (MWC 2018): IoT and 5G
How was the event?
The opening was made by Joel Epalanga, responsible for KiandaHub, who made a brief summary about the Dojo.
Then a video was shown - Summary of MenosFios.com coverage at MWC2018

The speaker, with more than 16 years of experience in Telecommunications, shared his knowledge about the future of connectivity, speaking of 5G, the advantages and the current state of the standard. Relevant statistics of mobile networks in Angola were also presented, showing that users in our country are moving towards a point where they are consuming more and more data, making sense to increase the coverage for 4G networks and to forget 2G.
There was time for the traditional pitches:
- I heard Connection - By: Marco Romero
Ever imagined you have access to the comics produced in Angola directly from your smartphone / tablet? Well, this startup is designing a platform to publish the best work, without having to worry about printing costs.
- Liga Angola - By: Alexandre Joaquim
If you are unable to memorize the service activation / deactivation numbers of the operators (For example: “Only call”), then this project is for you. The Liga Angola application is a directory with the services of the mobile phone and television operators, adding shortcuts for activating / deactivating services.
After a Networking session, we return to the topics in focus:
