The company E-commerce Japanese call Rakuten, controlled by the billionaire Hiroshi Mikitani, will buy the instant messaging app, Viber for 900 million USD, such an announcement was made the day before Valentine's Day.

One of the goals of this business will be to double the number of users of Rakuten, which offers several services, from financing to online video purchases. Rakutem is also the largest e-commerce platform in Japan.

Second Hiroshi Mikitani, the privately held company Viber, led by the Israeli businessman Talmon Marco from Cyprus, will add 300 millions of its existing users to the other 200 millions of Rekuten users who intend to become the largest provider of Internet services. This is evidenced by the purchase of other digital and multimedia companies such as KoboWuaki.tv and Viki.

Viber has become one of the direct competitors of Skype when it reached the mark of the 100 million users in 2011 and such a number today is estimated in more 200 million users since May of 2013.
