A Vodafone will hire seven thousand engineers from by 2025, aiming to develop more own digital services in Europe and Africa, advances the Reuters.
In a statement, the company says that the investment will allow it to develop products and services in a “faster and cheaper” in technologies such as Internet of Things (IoT), smart grids and cybersecurity.

In the words of Johan Wibergh, chief technology officer at Vodafone, the telecommunications company is focused on “improve and expand” your digital services in order to “drive revenue growth in a challenging environment for basic connectivity".

Wibergh added that Vodafone is building a “global software brand” to provide super-fast connectivity and digital products to your customers.
With this number of human capital acquisitions, the total number of engineers of Vodafone will increase to 16 thousand people.
