Rumors have been circulating for some time about the possibility of WhatsApp launching a new design in the Android version of its app. Now the WABetaInfo website adds that the design can now be found in the beta version of WhatsApp for Google's operating system.
As the publication states, version 2.23.20.10 of the beta brought not only a new interface but also new icons and colors – which can change the appearance of the app, especially if the user has selected the dark theme for WhatsApp.
The result is a more modern and homogeneous appearance when compared to the iOS version of WhatsApp. There are still no signs that the company is ready to launch these new features, but, considering that they are already present in the beta version, it is likely that it won't be long before they become available to the public.
