It is certainly the image of the day, Mark Zuckerberg decides to write a message (with translation in Portuguese) to announce that the Whatsapp was back to the “Country of Football”.
The São Paulo court ruled that the application should return to normal operation, thus nullifying the petition of telephone operators that managed to leave almost 100 millions of people without access to Whatsapp for approximately 13 hours.
Of course many Brazilians were able to overcome this barrier, using VPNs to access Whatsapp by changing the IP of the smartphone, simulating that they were accessing the application from another country.
The celebration message from the CEO of Facebook (and Whatsapp owner) was simple but effusive:
