WhatsApp which is one of the message applications, and most recently also for calls, better known and used across the globe, will be blocked by 48 hours from today in Brazil because of a court order, mobile operators may incur fine if they refuse to do so.

The author or authors (it was suspected that the operators themselves were a group) remains under the secret of justice.

Even though the author of the action is kept confidential, it is speculated that the Brazilian cellular operators are in some way involved, since they are asking for Anatel and Justice for the app for months. This is because WhatsApp now makes web connections using the users 'cell phone number, which generates taxpayers' payment annually.

The São Paulo Court of Justice issued a note to better elucidate the issues.

For failing to comply with a judicial decision old, the service will be penalized for 48 hours.

The lock is valid for mobile and fixed-line carriers. This way, the application will be blocked in the WhatsApp.net and WhatsApp.com domains on all connections with linked IP addresses. For this to happen, a cache cleansing and domains at midnight.

In short, for not collaborating with a police investigation, WhatsApp will be blocked by 48 hours as a form of retaliation.
