WhatsApp now lets you send instant video messages

O WhatsApp announced the arrival of a new feature created specifically for voice messaging aficionados. Instant video messaging is gradually making its way to users, with Angola on the list.

The aim is to give users the ability to record short video messages (up to 60 seconds) by pressing the button on the right side of the message field – just like traditional voice messages do today. Just slide the switch up to start recording without having your finger on the screen.

BUT: WhatsApp ended one of its biggest limitations

Once sent, these instant video messages automatically play, but without sound. Only when they are opened in a conversation does the sound start playing along with the video.
