This feature was spotted by users of the beta version of the app for Google's operating system, which indicates that the feature is still in the testing phase and could be released soon in an update to the final version of WhatsApp.

The new feature is represented by an icon in the shape of a mobile phone and an arrow pointing to the right. When pressed, WhatsApp will ask for the user's consent to share the screen.
It is not yet known when this feature will be released to all WhatsApp users.
