It is quite remarkable that the Smartwatches market is evolving in a very considerable way. Large companies such as Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, Samsung, HTC have already taken the first steps and others are now emerging. THE Polyera is preparing an experiment that considers the most complete for users willing to walk around with a computer on the wrist.

According to Phil Inagaki CEO of Polyera “People are very liberal with what they call a flexible screen. Everything you see on the market has a rigid curve. What we are doing with the arrival of Wove is to launch a product in which the shape of the screen will change in the hands of the consumer.

For Polyera consumers are ready for a Wearable (elegant technology for portable devices), so we decided to prepare the Wove that is more a computer than it is a smaller version of a smartphone, especially now with products like the Apple watch on the market among others. Wove will be totally different from the current Smartwatches.

It should be noted that it is possible to use only part of the for some simple task or split the Wove screen into two when needed. With all these qualities it will be the first really useful device in the Smartwatches segment that will be sold in 2016 and without a price yet speculated, but which may cost less than the most basic Apple Watch

Wove will be equipped with a dual-core 1 GHz processor, 4 GB of storage and 512 MB of RAM. For now, the device needs to be synchronized via Bluetooth to an Android or iOS smartphone to work, since it does not have WiFi or 4G for its basic functions. The battery will be 2.300 mAh.

The good news is that Wove is bringing together a considerable pool of application developers, so if you have experience in this area you can apply for and perhaps receive a unit of the device for free.

Will Wove be better than the rest of the Smartwatches?
