7 Mobile has upgraded to its two most prominent smartphones, the “kamba”And“ Swegue ”, about the first one, we talked here and spent a few days testing Swegue 2.
What do we think of the 7 Mobile mid-range smartphone?

"Swegue 2" General Features

O 7 Mobile Swegue is a smartphone that 7Mobile fits into the mid-range and features an 5.5-inch screen, support for 2 Nano SIM cards, 16 Mega Pixels + 0.3 MP rear camera and a front camera for 8 Mega Pixels. Hardware and Design

Unlike the first version of Swegue, in this smartphone the battery is removable. the fingerprint sensor was moved higher, close to the camera, without making it difficult to use. The screen is "huge" 6.18 inches, not preventing the easy handling of the smartphone (unless you have very small hands).
The curvature of the edges was even more accentuated, implying that the cover is not removable, an improvement in the design compared to the previous one. The physical buttons for “on / off” and Volume “Up / Down” were repositioned on the right side of the smartphone (in the initial version of Swegue the buttons were on the opposite side, making life difficult for some right-handed users).
As has been standard in the Android smartphones, there are no physical buttons for "Home", "Back" and "Multitasking".

The entries for MicroUSB and Audio Jack 3.5mm are on top of the smartphone.

Interface and Performance

O 7Mobile Swegue 2 has pre-installed the Android 8.1 Oreo, as 7 Mobile has gotten used to, a version without many changes. Some people may prefer changes, but this option benefits smartphone performance.

Swegue has maintained the characteristics of processor, 1.5GHz, Quad Core and had an upgrade in RAM, it’s now 3GB. We installed day-to-day applications - Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Camera and two games - just as a user would, we let it run, and the smartphone didn't crash.

Benchmark Results

Just as we did with Kamba, Benchmark tests can help you understand performance in a more technical way.

AnTuTu v.7.1.5
Result: 45450

Geekbench 4
Single Core Result: 654
Multi Core Result: 1891

Comparing the results with those obtained by “Swegue 1”, we can confirm that the performance is superior (Antutu: 33945 , Geekbench 4 - Single Core Result: 665
Multi Core Result: 1803).

If we have to compare Multi-Core performance with another smartphone (although released some time ago), it would be LG Nexus 5 and Xiaomi Mi 4C.

Office Supplies

The specifications of 7 Mobile Swegue 2 cameras are exciting even before testing: 16Mega Pixels + 2MP dual rear camera and 8MP front camera. Outdoors, with sun, very good camera response which has several preset modes so that the pictures come out with the ideal quality in any setting.

But if you are passionate about photos, the “Pro” Mode may be the best option, giving you the chance to control the details of aperture, focus. We left Swegue 2 with an independent team, to test the camera and other details, you can see the notes in the video published on our Youtube channel.

Below are some photos in different environments to confirm the versatility of the camera.

Battery life

7 Mobile decided to keep the team that won in the previous version, meaning this version continues with a battery of 3300mAh. Using the smartphone moderately, the autonomy 18 hours, with automatic brightness.

Conclusion

Swegue 2 is still in the middle range, although it has been upgraded from RAM (3GB) and storage (32GB), we can not install very demanding applications, at the risk of affecting the performance of the smartphone. Users with

Strengths:

  • The design, the double rear camera, the battery life and price.
  • There has been an increase in storage, 32 GB are acceptable for a camera smartphone with 16MP sensor. A MicroSD card can be added for those who need more space.

Improvement points:

  • Battery life.
  • Changing the camera's operating modes can become complicated, when we click on the mode name, there is a tendency to recognize the focus adjustment mode.
