Android N has officially been introduced

One of Google's great expectations was officially presented at the event I / O 2016. This is the Android N that do not yet have an exact name for the letter “N” since previous versions were the Lollipop and the later Marsmallow both candy names (as has been standard in Google's operating systems).

New Functions

The functions that are currently available in the trial version of Android N will go through constant changes until reaching the final phase. Some features have been verified by Google, while others remain in the system without confirmation.

  • Native Encryption

As for the security of the next version of Google's OS, it will feature the native encryption feature, which will add an extra layer of security for users using the system.

  • New emojis

The new version will feature 72 new emojis, which range between food and other on female representativeness. These emoji of representativeness will incorporate female versions of professions. Food varies widely, ranging from fruits, avocados, to household utilities.

  • Handling notifications manually

With this new version it will be possible for the user to organize the notifications in 6 different levels:

  1. Blocked - Never show notifications;
  2. Minimum - Displays the notification silently at the bottom of the notification list;
  3. Low - Displays notifications silently;
  4. Normal - Allows notifications to make sounds
  5. High - Displays notifications partially on the screen and emitting sounds;
  6. Urgent - Shows the notification at the top of the notification list, partially shows on the screen and allows sounds.

Recently there have been rumors that the Google is putting virtual reality support on Android N. But from all indications is true, to find out just go to: Settings> Apps> Configure apps> Special access> VR help services, the user will find a screen waiting to be populated with a list of applications using a API compatible with virtual reality applications.

  • Message response from the notification bar

From now on, the messages can be answered from the block screen for users who use this new version, just get the message (Email or SMS) the user will no longer need to leave the application to respond to any message.

  • Multitask

Google has been working hard to bring a native and efficient multi-tasking system to Android. On Android N the feature is apparently ready to reach the final version.

Like most major platform changes, developers will have to choose the screen split mode so that their applications can run seamlessly, adding a new attribute called: resizable Activity so your applications work flawlessly.
