The Digital Inclusion Center was inaugurated last Saturday, 30 / 08, by the Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technologies, José Carvalho da Rocha and is a free internet access space, basic computer training and aims to benefit the population.

The project, which is part of the National Center for Information Technology (CNTI), has created spaces with computers connected to the Internet, providing access to website services for studies and research, short-term training courses, computers for the preparation of works, printing of documents, etc.

Manuel Homem, the general director CNTI, stated that this initiative will contribute to the sector's strategy of materializing the massification and digital inclusion programs and the 2013 / 2017 National Development Plan related to information technologies.

“We want to offer technological services to the entire low-income population, through free access and free computer classes”

This Digital Inclusion Center will be managed by the management of the Cazenga Historic Landmark and the maintenance and monitoring of the equipment will be done by the CNTI.
