Recently the 20ª edition of the international university competition of programming to the south of Africa (The 20th South African Collegiate Programming Contest), which took place last weekend in Luanda. Angola was in the 6th, 9th and 11th positions of the regional ranking, the sum of these three positions, however, enables Angola to be in the 2nd position at the country level and opens the possibility of a recap for the world cup from March 31 to 5 April 2019 at the University of Porto, in Portugal.
According to a note from the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies (ISUTIC), where the online contest was held, in real time, indicates that from the first to the fifth place were occupied by teams from South Africa, in a contest that included the participation of 85 representations of 18 institutions from South Africa, Angola, Ethiopia and Kenya.
