Entries are open for the second edition of the AceleraNET, an Internet Service Provider accelerator program promoted by Angola Cables, an Angolan telecommunications multinational that operates in the wholesale market and is dedicated to the exploration and commercialization of international data circuit capacity and IP Transit.
The announcement was made on the second day of the 2023 edition of the ANGOTIC, the largest international event of technologies, communications and innovations in Angola, which contributes to the promotion of telecommunications and information technologies industries, technological tourism, as well as to the updating of digital platforms in the promotion of precision agriculture, health, education, environmental preservation and scientific research.
This edition of the program also has the support of MINTTICS, INACOM and the INAPEM, where this second edition comes to boost not only ISPs, but all SMEs in the digital sector in Angola.
What is needed to apply for the program?
To apply for the Acelera Net Program, all that is required is to be a small or medium-sized telecommunications company, which fits the requirements understood as being Angolan; be licensed by INACOM (Instituto Angolano das Comunicações); preferably having an operation outside Luanda and presenting an innovative business plan. Angola Cables intends to contribute to the Telecommunications sector, making the country an example, in digital potential, wealth generation, qualified staff in technological solutions.
