A Appy Health is a simplified application with information from more than 1.700 health establishments, among them (Pharmacies, Hospitals, Clinics, etc.), with photos, addresses, directions, contacts, schedules, services and associated insurance and also feedback visitors and users and medicine reservation.
After having conquered the national market, Appy Saúde has now embarked on its internationalization, having already stepped on stages such as the Web Summit, Africa Move, Africa Tech Summit, among others.
After being considered in 2019 as the best African application in the Apps Africa contest, Appy Saúde has just been considered the best SME (small and medium companies) of health in the world by International Telecommunication Union in category and health, in a contest called “ITU Digital World Awards 2020".
The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) recognized innovative technological solutions with the potential to change lives around the world at the ceremony promoted by the ITU. The awards were given to projects in four categories:
- Connectivity - new approaches to increase universal access to the Internet (won by astrome from India);
- Smart cities, smart life - improving urban life in areas such as energy, transport, planning, education (won by busmap Vietnam);
- E-health - improving health care through remote diagnosis and treatment (won by Appy Health of Angola)
- Digital finance - increasing access to the digital economy for banks and non-banks (won by OKO Finance Israel);
Competition Jury:
The winners in each of the four categories were selected by a jury of experts in the fields of business, technology and entrepreneurship, receiving certificates from the ITU Secretary General Houlin Zhao, in the presence of SE Phan Tam, Deputy Minister for Information and Communications, Vietnam, and an invitation to participate in ITU Digital World 2021 in ha noi, in October.
