Appy Health seeks investment for expansion in Rwanda

A Appy Health is an Angolan startup that dispenses presentations for the course that has in the national market and beyond, besides having mapped all the health facilities in Angola, as well as the reservation reserve of Medications and information of Doctors.

Peter Beirão (CEO of Appy Health) told Disrupt Africa that Appy Health, one of the 10 startups from across the continent who participated in the Africa Startup Summit in Kigali in February of 2019, is seeking investments to enter other markets such as Rwanda, Africa the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Namibia.
"Our main focus is on Rwanda and South Africa for now. We are in advanced talks with a partner to enter the Rwandan market. The time to market is excellent, as Angola and Rwanda are improving partnership policies. "

The startup was in some advanced discussions with potential investors, but no business financing deal was successful. While admitting that there was an evident funding gap for the Portuguese-speaking African startups, compared to their English-speaking and Francophone counterparts.
