Os Angolan banks they must invest in innovation, in order to increase literacy levels in Angolan society, according to the head of the Innovation and Transformation Department at Banco Angolano de Investimentos (BAI), Virgílio Monteiro.
The expert who spoke on a panel about “Digital inclusion as a factor in the economy”, in the last edition of FILDA, also discussed investment in infrastructure, which in his opinion will be one of the strategic points for digital inclusion in Angola.
"The first challenge is to solve the problem of literacy, teaching people to read and write correctly", said.

Virgílio Monteiro also revealed that BAI bank has invested a lot in technology to guarantee better quality of service for customers.
