The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) will be back in Las Vegas in 2023 with its annual event CES (Consumer Electronics Show) to the face-to-face format after a while via online, which for many is the first big technology event of each year.

For the 2023 edition, which will take place from the 5th to the 8th of January, the CES will focus on “human security”, defined by the United Nations as access to food, health care, clean air and water, and other basic human rights. For example, the CEO of the multinational John Deere (Deere & Company) is expected to speak about the role of the agricultural industry in meeting the growing demands of food production.

The automotive industry will have an even greater presence this year, making CES the largest auto show in North America. As usual, the main electronics manufacturers will reveal new televisions, laptops and other technological devices. The metaverse and artificial intelligence are also expected to take center stage.

More than a dozen speakers are expected for the 2023 event:

  • Dr. Lisa Su – PCA and CEO of AMD
  • Oliver Zipse – CEO of BMW AG
  • John May – PCA and CEO of John Deere
  • Gary Shapiro – President and CEO of the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)
  • Kinsey Fabrizio – Consumer Technology Association (CTA) Sales and Marketing Manager
  • John T. Kelley – Vice President and Director of the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)
  • Ed Bastian – CEO of Delta Air Lines
  • Laura Jones – CMO of Instacart
  • Michael Kassan – PCA and CEO of MediaLink
  • Travis Montaque – CEO of Group Black
  • Carlos Tevaras – CEO of Stellantis
  • Dr. Vidya Raman-Tangella – CMO at Teladoc
  • Dr. Susan Turney – CEO of Marshfield Clinic Health System

Since 1967 the CES has built a reputation as the venue for new technology announcements. In 1970, for example, CES showed a prototype of video recorders. Twelve years later, the 8-bit Commodore 64 was released at the event. DVDs, HDTV, Xbox, fitness bands, Blu-ray discs, 8K TVs… the list of innovative technology showcased for the first time at CES goes on and on.

MenosFios will show you everything that happens at the event, from lectures to round tables, as well as the entire launch. Stay tuned.
